The University Lumière Lyon 2 has about 28,000 students (including 16,8% of foreign students), divided between 6 faculties (Anthropology and Sociology ; Geography, History, History of Art and Tourism ; Languages ; Arts and Language Sciences) and 7 Institutes (The Institute of Communication Studies, the Lyon Institute of Work Studies, the Institute of Psychology, the Institute of Education and Training Sciences and Practices, the Institute of Trade Union Training and the Lumière University Institute of Technology).
